Tuscan Adventure, Part III: Portovenere

Our mini-roadtrip was not over yet. Stef wanted to make one more stop to show me Portovenere, his favorite seaside town on the Ligurian coast.

It was a little bit of a detour off the highway, but it was well worth it.

The colorful buildings were in the typical Ligurian style.

We got some gelato to eat while walking along the seaside. I say 'seaside' becuase there isn't really any real beach, it's more rocks. But that doesn't deter the Italian sunbathers.

We walked to the far end of the town and climbed up the steps to the church built on

The view was quite beautiful.

From the roof of the church, we could see the bright blue sea all around.

Walking back to through the town, I spotted this cute sleeping kitty.

Hi, wengy!
How are you? How are the wedding plans coming along? Yeah, sometimes it's a real pain but in the end it's worth it. Take care!

Hey whats that behind the cat...mailbox? Talking about that slot in the wall..looks cool...does it have anything to do with the secret illuminati organization? At 3:09pm on a 82.45 Degree F day, with the moon in a line with pluto and jupiter does that slot in the wall shoot out a laser been (illuminati discovered lasers decades ahead of the west..where do u think they got their name from?) that points to ancient treasure?

please advise ;)
