Tonight Jess and I rewarded ourselves after a workout at Decathlon with food, lotsa food. Sonoma Chicken Coop in Campbell was busy even after 9pm. We shared a chicken salad with goat cheese and avocado, and a boneless pork rib entree. Food was good and plentiful, although we were were less impressed with the cheap presentation on plastic plates. Real plates would've been nice, especially since we had to pick up our own orders at the self-serve counter.
For dessert we somehow ended up way out at McCarthy Ranch in Milpitas. This chinese dessert place was a real dissapointment! Both the Mango & Coconut Milk drink and Double-Boiled Egg White with Harsmar (harsmar!? sounds too weird... we should've known) turned out to be really bland. Our conclusion, a little bit of sugar would've perked it up. Definitely will not be back.
