Wildflowers

There were wildflowers everywhere on our hike today! I tried to take pictures of the different ones but I'm sure I missed out on some.








These yellow and purple ones are my favorite. And now it's off to bed. Tired!

Happy 4th of July

It's July already and I've been missing in action again! The last few weeks have been busy ones. We left on vacation in mid June, but right before that we were both so busy with work, logging in 12 hour days. Our holiday was in 2 parts: Part 1 was in the south of Italy and Part 2 in Chicago. There was so much to see, eat and do. I have lots to write about. Stay tuned!

Sentiero Valtellina: Bike Ride

It was a beautiful day and we took our bikes out on the scenic Sentiero Valtellina bike trail. I like cycling without having to worry about cars and traffic. Some parts of the trail takes you through narrow cobblestoned streets and small villages in the countryside.

What a nice way to get some fresh air in the weekend.
